All coaches at Long Beach Swim Club are certified members of USA swimming and members of ASCA. We pride ourselves on cutting edge teaching methods and regularly attend seminars and clinics.
Dr. Teresa Pascuzzo has been the head coach of Beach Swim Club for the past 18 years.. Previously she coached at Team Santa Monica, Santa Rosa Swim Club, the University of Southern California Women’s Team and several High School Teams from both Southern and Northern California.
Teresa swam for Los Angeles Athletic Club, Lakewood Aquatic Club, and the University of Southern California. Her accolades include 5 time All American at USC, Olympic Trial Qualifier 100 Breaststroke, Mountain Pacific Champion in the 100 Breast, Sprint IM and 400 Med Relay, with a new record in the IM. Teresa was also a member of the first Women’s National Water Polo Championship while at USC.
Teresa attended USC on an academic scholarship prior to title 9. She graduated with cum laude honors at USC. She then attended Medical school at UCLA in the Prosthetics field. Teresa then went on and obtained her PhD at TWU. Teresa’s dissertation was published in 1985…The Mechanical Comparison of Terminal Devices.
Teresa is currenty a level 4 ASCA Coach.
Regen specializes in the Pathways and Age Group coaching duties with an emphasis on safety, proper skill development, team member development, and building confidence in the water.
Originally from Michigan, Regen Robinson was a competitive swimmer and has competed throughout the Midwest from the age of 4 through college at Eastern Michigan University.
